Dental insurance can be complicated and sometimes frustrating these days. There are a wide range of insurance providers and plan options. Moore Family Dental is happy to help make the most of your benefits by including the following complimentary services:
- We will communicate with your insurance provider and complete a benefit review of your plan. This provides essential information such as eligibility, timing (when benefits for specific types of treatment are available), deductibles, copayments, and plan limitations.
- We will complete your insurance forms and submit any claims directly to your insurance provider.
- We will estimate the portion of your dental costs your insurance provider is expected to pay. This estimate is based on information from the plan review and benefit payment history. It is helpful to remember that the insurance company and your specific plan provisions will make the ultimate decision on the actual payment amount. The amount your plan pays is determined by the agreement negotiated by your employer with the insurance provider.
- We can help to avoid surprises by submitting a pre-treatment estimate of benefits. Sometimes these are required if treatment cost is over a specified amount or it aids in your financial plan. Otherwise, pre-treatment estimates are submitted by request. Please let us know in advance of treatment if you would like us to submit one for you.
- We will promptly inform you about any unexpected benefit situations.
- We will gladly assist you in maximizing your dental benefits and getting answers to any questions you may have from your insurance provider.
Understand that employers offer dental benefits to help employees pay for a portion of the cost of their dental care. Dental plans are designed to share in the cost of your dental care, not to completely pay for those costs. A dental plan may not cover certain procedures or preventative treatment. This does not mean that these treatments are unnecessary. Patients need to be aware of the exclusions and limitations in their dental plan but should not let those factors determine their treatment decisions.
Please keep in mind that we participate and accept a range of dental insurance providers. Each plan has a number of options which means each policy is unique. We will work closely with you to help you understand your individual and family benefits.
For those without dental insurance, we have flexible financing options available through Care Credit which includes a no interest payment plan. Click here to submit an online application. If necessary, we can discuss flexible payment arrangements that fit your budget. We will do our best to accommodate your specific situation. Please feel free to contact us with any specific questions or concerns.
