At Moore Family Dental, we use advanced tools and techniques to help you achieve a healthy, confident smile. One of the technologies that sets us apart is the iTero Scanner. This is a 3D scanner used specifically for Invisalign. It allows a digital impression to be sent directly to Invisalign to generate a 3D simulated “before and after” model of a patient’s smile. It also can be used for restoration designs, health monitoring, and caries detection – all without using radiation.

What Is the iTero Scanner?

The iTero Scanner is a state-of-the-art tool that captures detailed 3D digital images of your teeth and gums. Unlike traditional impressions, which use messy molds, the iTero Scanner creates accurate digital models quickly and comfortably.

The process involves a small handheld wand that scans the inside of your mouth. This information is then used to create a 3D image. That image gives Dr. Moore and his team an exact view of your teeth’s alignment and structure.
